Personal artwork is inspired by the zoolatry of ancient Greek and Roman traditions. I modernize the artwork technique by using glasswork in addition to hand-cutting traditional ceramic and stone tesserae. Currently experimenting with crafting mosaics inspired by illusionary, geometric puzzles.

Lion Blowing on a FlowerSOLD
-
Inspired by Lion Attacking a Horse, 325–300 B.C. The sculpture was infamously placed on the steps of the Capitoline Hill where it stood presiding over an area used for pronouncing judicial sentences and capital punishment. This mosaic responds to the Roman symbol of domination as justice with an image of delicacy: Lion Blowing on a Flower.
